Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the boat market has brought freedom, no matter how much progress has been made in the boat market, no matter how upstream the boat market is pushed, the boat market will move forward.
The Prime Minister said, we believe in empowering the people. And because I was able to do that, today Bangladesh is on the highway of development. Today, Bangladesh has a status in the world. No one will be able to degrade Bangladesh anymore, will not be able to look down on it. Rather, those who go abroad now find that everyone respects the people of Bangladesh.
Awami League president said, I want to say one thing, Awami League believes in people’s rights. Awami League believes in people’s right to vote
After many struggles, we have returned the right to vote to the people. People voted for Awami League, we won the 2008 elections. In 2014 and 2018 elections, I came to the government after being elected by people’s vote.
Sheikh Hasina said, we have been able to develop Bangladesh today because we have been in power for a long time. Where the father of the nation left a less developed country, today’s Bangladesh has attained the status of a developing country. We have to move forward by realizing this dignity. In 2041, Bangladesh of tomorrow will be a developed prosperous smart Bangladesh.
she said that the people of the country are aware of the vote. If someone steals votes, the people of this country will not accept it. You remember, on February 15, 1996, BNP held an election in power, Khaleda Zia declared herself Prime Minister by stealing people’s votes. But the people did not accept it. Khaleda Zia was forced to resign after only a month and a half, as a result of popular agitation. Vote thieves are never accepted by the people.
Urging to produce crops without leaving the uncultivated lands, the Prime Minister said that not even an inch of land can be left behind. Crops must be produced.
she said, Bangladesh will not look back, will not wait for anyone. We will grow crops in our fields, develop our country. I will not touch anyone. Father of the nation Bangabandhu said, beggars have no honor in the nation. We want to walk in the world with honor.
