North Korea has warned of war against the United States. The country said any move to block it during missile tests would be considered a declaration of war.
The US and South Korea have begun joint military exercises amid rising tensions on the Korean peninsula. Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un, made a statement about this.
Yoo Jong warned in the statement that Pyongyang would view it as a “declaration of war” if the US took military action against North Korea’s strategic weapons tests.He also hinted that more missiles could be fired into the North Pacific. The US and its allies have never fired a North Korean ballistic missile.Regarding the Pacific Ocean, Kim said, “The Pacific Ocean does not belong to the United States or Japan.”
The United States deployed B-52 bombers for joint exercises with South Korean warplanes. South Korea’s defense ministry said it was a show of force against North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats.
The two countries will conduct over 10 days of large-scale military exercises known as ‘Freedom Shield’ starting next week.
