18 people have died so far in the blast at Siddikbazar in the capital’s Fulbaria. 20 people were injured in this incident and are undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital. Besides, 10 people are admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute due to burns. Zafar Hossain of Lalbagh Zone (Deputy Commissioner) gave this information on Wednesday morning.
He said that the bodies of 17 people in Dham have been handed over to their relatives. The news of the death of these 17 people in the explosion is with the police. Bachchu Mia, in-charge (inspector) of the DMK Police Camp, said that about twenty patients are admitted in the burn and hospital of DMK due to the explosion in Siddikbazar.
Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute Chief Coordinator Dr. Samant Lal Sen said that one of the 11 patients was sent to Dubai in the Siddique Bazar explosion. Now we have about 10 people admitted here.
